About
The ASKFOOD Observatory promotes and develops various activities, in collaboration with the hosting organisation to promote innovation and high quality higher education and training in food-related sectors in a lifelong learning perspective including:
- Review of the knowledge, skills and competences required in the food business and job market
- Organisation of panel discussions, forms, and seminars/webinars – organised on regular basis and upon request of the members
- Collection of innovations in educational and training tools and methodologies, analysis of the data collected and dissemination of information
- Curation of information collected for the tools
- Maintenance of the Observatory platform and tools
- Management of the community
- Preparation of periodical publications
- Support of the design and organization of trainings for teachers to implement new training schemes and methodologies
The ASKFOOD Observatory has been designed and set within the ERASMUS+ Knowledge Alliance ASKFOOD “Alliance for Skills and Knowledge to Widen Food Sector-related Open Innovation, Optimization and Development”, funded by the European Commission Project Number 588375-EPP-1-2017-1-IT-EPPKA2-KA and coordinated by the University of Teramo (IT).
